PTO Gearbox


The PTO gearbox is a critical component of the MTSK1200 Remote Orchard Tool Carrier, responsible for efficiently transmitting engine power to PTO-driven implements such as flail mowers, rotary tillers, sprayers, and other agricultural attachments. Designed for demanding, long-duration operation, it delivers stable power output while ensuring high reliability and long service life.
The gearbox is equipped with large-diameter, heavy-duty gears that provide excellent strength and load-carrying capacity. With a 2:1 reduction ratio, it effectively converts the engine’s high-speed input into higher output torque, allowing attached implements to operate efficiently even under heavy loads and challenging working conditions.


The input shaft features a 32 mm diameter with a parallel keyway, providing a secure and reliable connection to the power source while ensuring efficient torque transmission. The output shaft is equipped with a standard 6-spline PTO interface, allowing quick and convenient connection to a PTO driveshaft (universal joint) and ensuring compatibility with a wide range of agricultural implements.
To improve reliability during continuous operation, the PTO gearbox is fitted with a breather valve. During extended working hours, the gearbox naturally generates heat, causing the internal air pressure to increase. The breather valve automatically equalizes the internal and external pressure, releasing excess pressure while preventing dust and moisture from entering the gearbox. This design helps protect the oil seals from excessive pressure, reduces the risk of oil leakage, and extends the service life of the gearbox.
