Idler Wheel (Front Idler) – Built for Strength and Reliable Track Guidance
The idler wheel, also known as the front idler, is a key component of the tracked undercarriage on the MTSK1200 Remote Orchard Tool Carrier. Positioned at the front of the track system, its primary function is to guide the rubber track, maintain proper track alignment and tension, and ensure smooth, stable movement across rough terrain. A high-quality idler wheel not only improves driving stability but also reduces track wear and extends the service life of the entire undercarriage.
Our MTSK1200 features a one-piece cast idler wheel that is precision CNC machined after casting. Compared with welded or fabricated alternatives, the integrated casting structure offers significantly higher strength, excellent impact resistance, and outstanding durability, making it ideal for demanding agricultural and off-road applications.
To further enhance reliability, each idler wheel is equipped with dual heavy-duty bearings that provide excellent load-carrying capacity and smooth rotation under continuous operation. High-quality double sealing rings at both ends effectively prevent the entry of dust, mud, water, grass clippings, and other debris into the bearing assembly.
Even when operating in orchards, muddy fields, or areas covered with weeds and grass residue, the sealed bearing system keeps contaminants out, ensuring long-lasting performance while minimizing maintenance requirements. The result is a robust, maintenance-friendly undercarriage that delivers dependable performance in the toughest working conditions.
