Heavy Duty Carrier Roller

A carrier roller (also known as a top roller) is a key component of a tracked undercarriage. Unlike the track rollers that support the machine’s weight, the carrier roller supports the upper section of the rubber track, keeping it properly aligned and maintaining the correct track tension during travel. It helps reduce vibration, minimizes track wear, and ensures smooth, stable operation over rough terrain.
For the MTSK1200 Remote Orchard Tool Carrier, the carrier rollers are designed for heavy-duty agricultural and off-road applications where reliability and durability are essential.
Our carrier rollers are manufactured using high-strength cast steel rather than ordinary welded or pressed components. The cast body is reinforced with integrated strengthening ribs, significantly increasing structural rigidity and impact resistance. This heavy-duty construction enables the rollers to withstand continuous operation in orchards, forests, muddy fields, and other demanding working environments without deformation or premature wear.
To ensure long-term reliability, both ends of each carrier roller are equipped with high-quality sealing rings. These seals effectively prevent grass clippings, weeds, mud, sand, and other debris from entering the internal rotating components. Even when the upper track is covered with wet grass, mud, or other contaminants, the sealed design protects the roller from damage and greatly extends its service life while reducing maintenance requirements.
The combination of a reinforced cast construction and high-performance sealing system provides exceptional durability and dependable performance in harsh outdoor conditions. Whether operating in dense vegetation, muddy orchards, or uneven terrain, the MTSK1200’s heavy-duty carrier rollers help maintain smooth track movement, reduce wear on the undercarriage, and ensure reliable operation throughout extended working hours.
